Brand Awareness for Crewe as FUNKI Print Launches

A brand new vinyl printing company has launched in Crewe, to support local businesses with their tailored clothing.

FUNKI Print are based on Thomas Street in Crewe, Cheshire, where they are able to personalise clothing, mugs and ‘phone cases with their new equipment.

Owner Damian Glasheen set up the company in April, in response to the inflated prices that other companies charge for similar products. 

Damian successfully runs The Glasheen Academy which teaches over 2000 people on a weekly basis, in martial arts and street dance.  FUNKI Print shares its base with TGA Headquarters, with all equipment being based at the academy. 

The Glasheen Academy were ordering t-shirts and hoodies on a weekly basis for members of the group from large companies with large costings. Damian wanted to be able to offer more reasonable prices, so invested in new sublimation and vinyl printers in order to bring the order in-house and reduce cost.

Damian said: “I was getting frustrated with paying ridiculous prices outsourcing the clothing and then having long waiting times to get the products back. 

“We order so many garments through TGA, it just made sense to buy the print equipment and bring it in-house so that it’s cheaper and arrives quicker.”

Since launching FUNKI Print, the company have supported other local businesses wanting to buy branded clothing for employees.  They have also worked with hen parties to provide them with personalised t-shirts ready for their big weekends away. 

FUNKI Print are now working with businesses in Cheshire, meeting with clients to find out about their needs and requirements and then delivering goods in an efficient manor, to high standards.
